I spent most of the weekend designing and making a gown that would be a pretty folklorico outfit for Marisol and now that it's all finished, I don't want to give it up! Rats. Does anyone else have this problem? I thought if I knew from the start that I would be selling this one, I wouldn't get attached to it. Wrong...

It'll take a while for pictures. I'm still experimenting with various patterns. I started another dress using a Brazilian dance dress as a base last night. I think Ruthie may end up attending a fandango in October. Or a brouhaha, depending on who doesn't get a dress made in time for the party.

I have this problem all the time, especially with the folkloric outfits. My Josefina trunk is full of home made outfits. The first one I made , I listed it very high on e-bay as I didn't really want to sell it. I may decide to sell some of them as we get closer to Christmas.
